We are excited to announce that the 2026 Peotone High School Homecoming Grand Marshal is Mrs. Tammy Hoffman!
A lifelong member of the Peotone community, Mrs. Hoffman grew up here, met her husband here, and raised her family here. She has had the privilege of watching her children go through Peotone Schools, and now she gets to experience another special chapter as her grandchildren attend schools within the district.
Mrs. Hoffman has been an influential and dedicated member of the Peotone community for many years. She currently serves as the Director of Retail Banking at First Community Bank and Trust in Peotone and as Treasurer of the Peotone Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the Director of Peotone Community Dollars for Scholars, an organization that has awarded 647 scholarships totaling $323,000 to Peotone students over the years. This incredible accomplishment is certainly worthy of celebration, and generations of Blue Devils are grateful for her leadership and guidance.
Mrs. Hoffman’s commitment to serving the community extends far beyond these roles. She has also contributed her time and talents to the Peotone Educational Foundation, the Peotone Sesquicentennial Committee, and the Peotone Economic Development Committee. She consistently gives her time and energy to help make Peotone a stronger and better place for everyone.
Mrs. Hoffman believes in the importance of education and the role teachers play in shaping the lives of students. As an employer, she appreciates the efforts of Peotone Schools to prepare students to become responsible, successful, and contributing members of society.
Above all, Mrs. Hoffman is grateful for her family and for the many people she has had the opportunity to work alongside through the Peotone Chamber of Commerce and the scholarship board. She recognizes the countless hours, resources, and dedication these individuals have given to help our community and schools thrive, and she is grateful to have been part of that effort.
When asked what advice she would give to younger generations about getting involved and giving back to their community, Mrs. Hoffman offered a simple but powerful message, “Always do what you can. It’s so rewarding to know that you made a difference in making your community a better place.”
It is clear that Mrs. Hoffman has lived those words. Through her years of service, leadership, and dedication, she has made a lasting difference in both our community and our schools. We are incredibly grateful for all she has done and continues to do for Peotone.

Come celebrate Mrs. Hoffman as she is honored during the 27th Annual Powder Puff Games on Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. on the PJHS football field. Then, be sure to look for her as she rides through the Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 25th at 4:00 p.m. We are excited to celebrate and honor Mrs. Hoffman for this well-deserved recognition.
