Brief description of club/activity:  SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.  The mission is to help its members become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible Americans.SkillsUSA complements technical skills training with instruction in the employability skills that make a well-rounded worker and citizen. Founded in 1965, SkillsUSA has developed nearly 9.5 million workers through active partnerships between employers and educators.

Eligibility Requirements:  Preference for students enrolled in a CTE ( Career & Technical Education) class, but anyone can join

Meets: 1st & 3rd Thursdays @ 7:45 a.m. in the IT Shop

Fees: $25 due includes t-shirt

Procedure for joining: Come to a meeting with Sponsor, fill out a membership form & pay your dues.
