Counselors' Update

Guidance Office Summer Hours 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from Thursday, August 3rd through Friday, August 18th. Please call or email the Guidance Office with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Attention Students:

Summer School Transcript Reminder: Any student who took a summer school class at Bradley-Bourbannias or Lincoln-Way High School must contact the school to request that their official transcript be sent to Peotone High School in August in order to receive credit towards graduation.

Any student who has failed a course that is required for graduation must retake the course either during summer school or next school year. Students are eligible to take summer school at either Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School or Lincoln-Way Community High School (Central or East). Summer school information and registration forms can be accessed online at each school's website or in the Peotone High School Guidance Office. Prior to registering for summer school, your counselor must approve the course and sign the registration form.

Students please review your 2017 - 2018 course requests on PowerSchool. Course request changes begin Monday, April 24th.  Sign up to see your counselor if you would like to make a course request change. The last day to make a course request change is Friday, June 9th. Attention Juniors & Seniors:

Any student interested in taking the SAT on a National SAT test day must register online at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat?navid=gh-sat. PHS will host the National SAT test on Saturday, August 26, 2017 and Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Attention Seniors:

Financial Aid Information: Beginning October 1, 2016 seniors and their families are able to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Check out the website below for important information and changes regarding the FAFSA: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out.

Just a reminder...If you are a male U.S. citizen, age 18 or older you are required to register for the Selective Service. Visit  http://www.sss.gov more information.
