Good Morning PHS Students and Staff!

 The first PHS book club meeting is Friday, September 8 at 7:30 AM in the media center. We will share thoughts on our summer reading books and the first book of the year will be announced. All are welcome!

 Any student who is interested in being a library helper this year should sign up with Mrs. Schubbe by September 8.

 The school district is looking to hire a few students willing to do some weed trimming at the four schools in town. Students must be at least 16 years old, have a driver's license and be able to use a gas powered weed trimmer. The work will not be daily and hours can be flexible. Please see Mrs. Bean in the main office for an application.

 Voting for senior t-shirts will take place today during A & B  lunch today.

 Orders for Senior shirts will then be taken From Friday; September 9th to Thursday; September 14th during A & B  lunch or to Mrs. Riemann in room 202.

 Attention all male dancers! Guy Poms sign ups are in the main office for homecoming week! Mandatory meeting will be September 19th at 8AM in Mrs. Blamble's room. See Mrs. Blamble with any questions!

 Senior pictures are Sept. 6th & 7th in the media center from 3-7pm.

Picture Day for grade 9-11 is Sept. 13 in the morning.

 A representative from University of Central Missouri will be visiting on Today, September 6 at 10:15, sign up in Guidance today.

 On Friday, September 8th all seniors are scheduled to report to the first floor computer lab during their assigned period. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the period and seniors should bring a pen. If you have any questions, please see your counselor.

 The PHS Guidance Department's 8th Annual Financial Aid and Scholarship Presentation will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. The guest speaker for this presentation is a trained financial aid specialist from Joliet Junior College who will provide an overview of the financial aid process and updates regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Information regarding the PHS Local Scholarship will also be provided at this time. Seniors and their families are strongly encouraged to attend.

 Anyone interested in joining Dungeons & Dragons club, know that the sign-up sheet will be posted this week until Thursday on the corkboard on the second floor between rooms 214 and 215.. First Any questions talk to Carter McCall for details.
