      PHS Announcements – Thursday 8/31/17

Good Morning PHS Students and Staff!

 The first PHS book club meeting is Friday, September 8 at 7:30 AM in the media center. We will share thoughts on our summer reading books and the first book of the year will be announced. All are welcome!

 Any student who is interested in being a library helper this year should sign up with Mrs. Schubbe by September 8.

 Sign up for the Mighty Muscles and Powder Puff lotteries will take place during lunch Today, August 31.  Students must be academically and social eligible to participate in these activities.  Powder Puff will take place on Wednesday, October 4 and Mighty Muscles will take place on Friday, October 6.  Cost of shirts for the events is $10.

The Best Buddies meeting has been changed to Tuesday, September5th at 8AM in Mrs. Blamble’s room. We will be signing up for exec board and planning our events. See Mrs. Blamble with questions!

 There will be an International Culture Club Meeting  on Friday,  Sept,1 at 8:00 am in the auditorium.

 Anyone interested in joining Dungeons & Dragons Club, know that the sign-up sheet will be posted this week on the corkboard on the second floor between rooms 214 and 215. Membership is limited so if you want to be a part of D&D join soon. Any questions, talk to Carter McCall for details.

 Attention Seniors: There will be a senior class post-secondary planning meeting on Friday, September 1. Seniors should report directly to the auditorium at the beginning of second period and bring pen.

 Attention all male dancers! Guy Poms sign ups are in the main office for homecoming week! Mandatory meeting will be September 19th at 8AM in Mrs. Blamble's room. See Mrs. Blamble with any questions!

 Dimes to Dollars is Today! Please help with the cause and donate. Donations may be made during lunch.

 There will be an informational meeting about the fall play, Alice in Wonderland, on Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 7:50 am before school in the auditorium. This is a mandatory meeting if you plan to audition on Thursday, Sept. 7th. See Mrs. Tapak with any questions.
